With over 300 years of history, TriBeCa (a.k.a. Triangle Below Canal Street) combines historical landmarks and brave architectural feats into one fascinating neighborhood. TriBeCa has a distinct personality all on its own, so we decided to honor it with its own tour.

Join us to explore eclectic TriBeCa and get familiar with this fascinating neighborhood’s rhythm and history. From the sleepy countryside to a 19th-century industrial hub, TriBeCa has undergone many stages of evolution to emerge as one of New York City’s most stylish neighborhoods, packed with shops, galleries, and up-and-coming bars and restaurants. We’ll take you through its streets and show you some of the buildings that helped shape the identity and personality of the neighborhood.

Underground Railroad Station
Located at 36 Lispenard St., the Underground Railroad Station was part of a network of secret pathways once used to transport slaves from the Southern US states to their freedom.

American Thread Building
Built in 1894 in a Renaissance-revival style, the American Thread Building was one of the very first luxury buildings in the region.

Ghostbusters Firehouse/Hook & Ladder 8
A huge New York City attraction! This firehouse was featured in the famous Ghostbusters film made in 1984 and again in the 2016 reboot. Who ya gonna call?!

New York Mercantile Exchange Building
We’ll continue our exploration by visiting this chaotic commodities trading center for an overview of its history.

Staple Street Skybridge
This building duo is arguably one of the most unusual in TriBeCa. The structure consists of a townhouse on Jay Street and a loft on Hudson Street that are connected by the Staple Street Skybridge.

AT&T Long Lines Building
This 550-foot-high concrete skyscraper made a big impact when it was built in the 70s. It’s a must-see in the region.

Cary Building
